At Hacienda del Agua we care for the environment; we are at the middle of Los Alcornocales Natural Park.

At Hacienda del Agua we understand that a healthy nature means a healthy population. A healthy nature in the 21st century carries a proper environmental administration.

On the basis of this firm belief, we focus our environmental management. summerized as:

Electric energy source: by means of airgenerator (eolic energy) and fotovoltaic pannels (solar energy).
Water: own water wells at the ranch.
Treatment of residual water: Ecological unit of depuration (biological depuration). Depurated water reused for watering the tree farm of the ranch.

Heating system: by means of stoves – iron fireplaces.
Firewood: it comes from the forestal management at the ranch.
Forestal management: the ranch is part of a reforestation and restorarion of local trees program.
Paths: access paths have a natural treatment with natural and local gravel.
Ecological treatment of wood: the protection of wood against external agents has been carried with ecological products.
Terrazas y patios: made in natural stone.
Vegetable Garden: the improvement of the agriculture bed has been made with treated cow manure.
Residuals: daily gathering. Each house has containers to collect sellected urban solid residuals: paper-cardboard, plastic, glass and organic material – food residuals.
Restauration of the facilities: we have respected the architecture and decorative elements from the sierra of Cadiz.
